Would you like to write a reference card? If you are knowledgeable in a science, math, or computer science subject area and would like to write a reference card please email refcard@gbook.org.

Authors are given a percentage of the sale of each card that they author. More information on the process of proposing a card will be posted here soon. If your proposal for a card seems plausible and there is enough market for the card, the card will go through a graphic design process and further changes can be made. Once your card is press-ready, it will be printed in quantity and advertised on this site.

Topics should stay toward references on conceptual topics, which do not change frequently. Application reference cards are hit or miss because they change frequently and become out of date quickly. The same applies to programming frameworks, although some APIs such as Win32 which are established are possibilities for reference cards.

The material in a reference card should only be for reference. They are used best by people who already know the topic and are using it just as a reference. Also, cards should be directed toward audiences of pre-college (AP classes) and beyond.

Here is a guide for writing a proposal.
